Inspire your child with exciting after-school STEAM adventures!

Ever since Alana took the helm of TPW in 2020, we have made use of her educational expertise in ways that combine art with inclusion, child development, and core academic subject material bundled with joy and enthusiasm. This is the magic mix that brings families back class after class and year after year. This fall we are excited to announce that we are taking the disguise off and announcing that what we do here at TPW is all about STEAM!

Educators have long known the power of STEM thinking – helping kids organize their ideas into smart solutions for real-world challenges. STEM, short for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, brings logic to creativity. It's like giving a structure to imagination, preventing projects from spiraling into chaos. The arts are inseparable from STEM but have not always been given the credit they deserve. Think about it – the worlds of science, tech, engineering, math, and art collide and coalesce. Our biggest supporters know that we're not only about visual Art here at The Painting Workshop; we're all about STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Full speed ahead with STEAM!

Take a peek at some of the ways we do it:

Topsy Turvy Tuesday

Where chemistry meets color theory, and life science dances with art and nature.

Wabi Sabi Wednesday

A day for age-appropriate art inspiration, creation, and embracing the beauty of imperfections.

3D Thursday

Diving into physics, tech, artful geometry, and engineering adventures with simple machines and 3D mastery, exploring light, while getting creative with procreate and stop motion.

Kids possess an innate curiosity about the world, and that's our cue to introduce them to the wonders of STEAM. At TPW, we're dedicated to harnessing this curiosity and nurturing creativity, offering an exciting blend of education, engagement, and entertainment every single day. So, let's dive into a world where learning knows no bounds!
