Cassidy Percevecz

Teacher

Cassidy Percevecz graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor’s in General Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art. They are currently pursuing their Master's in Art Education.

Cassidy brings her experience of working with artists with special needs to the classes and camps she teaches at TPW. Their experiences interning at Make Studio and working at the Farring Baybrook Recreation Center have taught them how to differentiate instruction and recognize the value in everyone's contribution.

Cassidy's passion for teaching stems from their love of learning. In their own artwork, they explore a variety of materials but have a passion for found object sculpture, experimental drawing, and using natural materials such as branches, flowers, dirt, etc.  This multi-media approach to the creative process allows a wide range of learners to engage and create in a manner that is authentic to them. They love to get outside as a part of their creative process. They believe that a beautiful way of creating a lasting connection to nature is by making art in it and with it. To that end, Cassidy often brings her students to Mt. Washington Arboretum and the lovely grounds at The Ivy Bookshop to do their art-making.
