  • Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

What the camp day looks like:

9-9:30 - Welcome and Free Draw or Drawing Prompts. This is the time to settle in, catch up with friends and wake our creative minds. Good morning artists!

9-30 - 11:30 - The BIG art of the day! Focusing on the weeks’ theme we will explore art and artists as we create our own unique work. Artwork from the morning may go home at the end of the day or may take us a week to complete. This is the time of day we focus on learning, exploring, creating, and growing as artists. This process takes time…no need to rush.

11:30-1 - Take a break! This is the time we tidy up from the morning, eat our lunch and most importantly play and move our bodies!

1-2:30/45 - Afternoon art! We may continue with the morning’s theme or move on to another fun focus. This is the time for continuation or change, crafts, creativity and art play!

2:30/45-3 - Clean up and pick up. Artists need to rest and rejuvenate! Good night artists!

Note: We are creative here at The Painting Workshop! Therefore, our schedule is FLEXIBLE! We strive to meet the individual and group needs of our campers above all else so we will take our cues from them. The above is a general guideline to give you an idea of what an art camp day may look like. Nothing is written in stone!
